Awesomeness Personified... Or Not!

I would have to agree
There's just "something" about facial hair ;-)

But then you have....

No Awesomeness whatsoever...

In any way....

Shape....

or Form....

Ewwww...

"awesomeness escaping through my face" I like that! I've been sporting a Hulk Hogan style Fu Manchu for about the last six months. That just about sums it up!

Fu Manchu eh... :-)

Anyone else willing to share their awesomeness?

I've had a full beard since I got out of the Army in 1989. While it was still red, it hung half way to my belt buckle. Since it turned gray, I've kept it trimmed to an inch or two depending on the weather.
Back in February I got bored with the same moustache I've had since I was 18, and started on a handlebar. It is just shy of touching my ears in six months of grooming. The search for a good wax was the worst part, and it does beat the crap out of my cheeks when I don't wear a helmet on the motorcycle but it gets some interesting looks.

I like the idea of a red beard, don't see that very often ;-)

Handlebar? Is that when you make the ends curl?

My 'stache is kind of like a Tom Selleck. Just a little longer on the ends.

Kinda classy. :-)

Curled ends can be handlebar or imperial.

lol...
Perhaps there is only a couple of weeks in a year that my face is completely hairless...
In the summer time I have this Heath Ledger goatee (i've been told). But don't let it get long or hairy... To hot in the golf league days...
In our long winter, which as you know, it start in October and ends in May, I have a full beard... Kind of look like David Beckem with full beard...

Got no upper lip, and a few fight scars. Facial hair does wonders...

Well, now the hair that used to grow out of the front part of my head is now growing out of my nose, ears and back (the joy of aging) I started shaving my head, which took out my General Burnside sideburns and 'stache. Now I just have a somewhat ratty looking 'stache. Since I shave in the shower, sans mirror, I can never get the ends the same length. Lord only knows what I'm gonna do if I ever start dating again.

Yeah, red beards run in the family. Mine was red on the sides with blonde 'stache and below my lower lip. That's all gone now- just a few reddish highlights in the beard under the gray/white that age and 26 years of marriage brought.
German-Irish genetics gave me the colors, which my son now sports (he's 6' 2", 200lbs and looks like a damn Viking).
