Hey There !!

Good News: I am home, safe and sound. 

Bad News: A setback has put a damper on my plans....

It seems the builder I was scheduled to work with decided to temporarily drop a few smaller clients to take on a bigger contract. That means that instead of having my house ready for delivery by October, they want to deliver in December.

I live in Canada !! That's not feasible !!!

So reluctantly, I will reschedule my project for the spring.

I did get quotes from other builders, hoping to still pull off my plans, but of course, they were more expensive. Honestly, I'm kinda glad they were, because I still prefer the work of my original builder.

I have to look a it in a good light. More time to tweak my plans, which I like. And a few extra weeks to work on felling the rest of the trees that need to go before excavation (Part Deux) can begin. Between meetings, playing phone tag to reschedule my trades, and work, I've been pretty busy.

The extra 5 to 6 months of apartment bills kinda suck. Not what I expected. Such is life at times. I will have to work my butt off to compensate though. Fun times, I like to think that I still have things under control ;-)

For some unknown reason, Blogger has tweaked it's settings and now EVERYONE making a comment, including myself is presumed a robot. I do monitor my comments to filter out the trolls and crappy annoying spam, but this "Capshit" setting is set to OFF, and I did not change it. I checked, it's still off. And for the fuck of it, as this is sometimes the fix in this "sensible" computer world we live in, I turned it on. Saved it. Went back to the settings, and turned if off again. Hey, sometimes it clears up the glitch. Not this time, and it seems alot of bloggers are dealing with it. It's no big deal really, but it is annoying as hell....

One Word ~ Astounding!

"Spidey" came to town recently. And I thought... I've never seen anything like this in real life before, why not, could be fun. So I went, not sure what to expect.

Honestly, it was quite entertaining. And having some NLP background myself, I have to say, I really enjoyed "dissecting" it, withing the limited realm of my current knowledge of course. Big props to him for not boasting his "talents". Instead, he aimed to provide a hilariously memorable experience to both his audience and participants alike. Which I might add, were very willing and eager to make the cut... me not so much, I wanted to watch and learn ;-)
