My Lucky is a pest on the matter.

Every time I go to give him a scratch, he'll swing his body around hoping to get a nice butt scratch. I just keep switching sides on him :P It's pretty funny watching him trying to get me to that "special" spot... They make life so much more interesting ;-)

No it doesn't.  Symbols have no meaning.  Meaning is what we bring to symbols, they don't "stand" for anything. So there is no need to justify anything.  By the First Amendment, everyone has a right to display the symbols that they wish, and nobody has a right to tell them what that symbol means. If you want to find out what a symbol means to someone, ASK THEM, instead of trying to force your meaning on them.

This would come in very handy at my house....

We have to watch for run away caps. My dog Lucky likes to grab them so he can barter for treats. He's a sneaky fellow, but it's easy to tell when he's got something "he knows" he shouldn't have. He'll come around the corner, stand in the doorway, and just look at me from a distance till I notice he's there. Then as soon as I move, he turns around and walks around the island in the kitchen, staying far enough away, just in case I try and catch him. The house is not that big, so it's really funny watching this big dog maneuver around the furniture. There he is laying in between the Island and the kitchen table with his "Please Feed Me" look.

I Know... It Feels Good Doesn't It... ;)

This pic reminds me of what my big dog Lucky does when I take out a clean comforter for him. He really likes it... ;-)

Alright "Boy" time to keep walking....

I have a video of my daughter when she was younger, that I wont show because she will kill me... ;-)  Of her handing Lucky the leach, she was pretending to be a puppy too. It was so cute, he took the handle in his mouth and gently walked around the house checking behind every few seconds if she was still following him. The leach was pretty short yet he kept it loose at all times... Cesar would be proud LOL
