Porter, Stout or ale, Sam Adams is one of my favorite nationals, But a local brewery(BBC) makes a very fine stout called Bluegrass Bottling Co. Bourbon Barrel Stout. But you don't have to beat me to get me to drink IPA. In the winter I often splurge on Honey Moon Ale or a fine Mead.----Ray
God bless Ray. You sure know your beer... I went from PBR to LaBatts blue... However I use to know Cigars that well... But gave that up ten or so years back....
Usually the beer I drink at home is either Shiner Bock or Fat Tire. But there's a bar near the house with 40 different draft beers, and I'm working my way darker and darker.
Started brewing my own a few years back. I mostly make American Pale Ales and IPAs, but at the end of summer when my homegrown hops are ready I'll make a Czech lager. If I ever get a break from the neverending yard work and workplace work I'm planning on a dunkel. Bottom up you all..........
Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan. Made in Lower Mississippi, a nut brown type ale with a refined creamy nuttiness that is very pleasing to a Southern boy like me.
