Is it just me, or sometimes when you turn on the news or look at a newspaper or magazine do you ever feel like you’re smack dab in the middle of an episode of the Twilight Zone? I mean I know we conservatives know what is going on, but unfortunately there is a large percentage of the country who are just not paying any attention at all, and to those people all I have to say is shame on you.Shame on you for knowing who the contestants in the Big Brother House or on American Idol are, but not having any clue what Scandal-palooza is. Benghazi, the IRS targeting Conservative groups, the Justice Department probing the AP?… How is it that on the anniversary of the horrific attacks on our nation on 9/11 our U.S. Ambassador and three servicemen are barbarically murdered and no one in the media gives a flying flip?
How is it that since 2010 the IRS has been harassing people and preventing them from conducting business going against almost everything in the constitution because they do not agree with people’s political ideology; yet the only people who seem to find it newsworthy are Conservatives and Conservative New Media?
Why did it take the Associated Press finding that it too was being monitored by the Justice Department to break Scandal-palooza wide open? Could it be that it is considered OK to censor Conservative Ideology for years of an administration but when it starts happening to liberals then “WHOA NELLY!” Now we have a problem and it is suddenly news.
When King Obama came onto the scene it took all of about twenty seconds for me to make up my mind about him and his dangerous ideology. The condescending fake cadence in his always on teleprompter mode of speaking, and if off teleprompter then bumbling stumbling not knowing what he’s talking about Barry comes out. The more we learned, the more concerned I grew. I watched as the lapdog media put up the walls around him and his compadres. Anyone who disagreed with the ideas or ideology all of which are polar opposite to what our once Great Nation was founded and built upon, we were all labeled racist, fringe kooks.
So here we are approximately six months into his second term, which by many accounts may have been stolen (something not too many people want to talk about) and we have things happening that for all accounts and purposes based upon our Constitution should not be happening. This nation was founded specifically to prevent a tyrannical government from controlling the people. Yet what do we have… we have a ruler who can not tolerate any opposing ideas, anyone asking any questions, and a media who have built an isolation chamber around him.
There have been times in history when rulers have taken over the media and we all know how well that turned out for everyone involved. We are in a boat, there is a giant hole in it and the boat is going to do down unless we the people do something about it. This is our country; it’s time to take it back. How do we do it? We keep writing, blogging, tweeting, and talking to anyone and everyone who will listen and even to those who won’t.
We have keep having rallies, events and conferences and keep every single thing this administration is doing wrong out there. Don’t let them explain away the scandals. What is happening is wrong, will we allow them to win and turn America into Europe? I sure the heck hope not.
I wrote these words on September 12, 2009, less than a year into Obama’s Presidency. It’s chilling to read them now almost four years later and see how true they have become. It is up to us. During the Revolutionary War it took ordinary men to stand up with pitchforks and fight with everything they had to keep America Free. Today we are not fighting with pitchforks or muskets; we’re fighting with media and information. Information is power, power Obama used to steal our country. Lets use that same power to take our country back.

Just FYI, the cartoonist mixed his iconic TV cultural references. It was "The Outer Limits", not the Twilight Zone, that claimed "We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear".
Great post,I agree with the sentiment but I think it will take more than blogging,talking and singing.The libs have got too firm an infrastucture built up now.Time for pitchforks again.

Thanks for sharing Proof, I would not have known that. I was a fan of the Twilight Zone growing up, but I was very young and only remember bits and pieces... I mostly remember the eerie feeling that it would leave you with.....

I'm pretty sure even AFTER the Justice Department probes of the Associated Press came out, most leftists don't care.
They don't care about freedom. They don't care about safety. They don't care about thinking for themselves. Sure, they SAY they care, but actions speak louder than words, and the actions of my Liberal roommate say "Whatever the government does is totally cool. If it wasn't a good thing, they wouldn't do it." Even while he says "I'm pro-gun, I'm pro-life, I favor lower taxes, and I don't trust my government," what he does is argue and vote for stricter gun laws, more prevalent abortion, free-reign of media censorship, and the highest taxes possible.
And if I point any of these things out? "Oh, that's a slippery slope."
He says he knows me personally and can't say the same about our Esteemed Commander in Chief. When I brought it up, he said that if the chief figure of his own religion told him to do something to harm me, he would at very least have to think very hard about it.
I don't believe him. If he got a call from the CIA and the person on the other end said "Yeah, this guy needs to be taken out of the picture," he'd say "Yes, master, of course. How do you want it done? Accident? Should I sabotage his car? Poison his food? I know where he keeps his guns, do you want him shot with his own guns?"
My options for getting out of the situation are limited. And of course, the people who exist to protect us from dangerous people are the very same ones who are handing down whatever orders he will blindly follow.
In some ways, I can't wait for when the cold war goes hot, and he can't blindly deny everything anymore. Because until then, whatever he claims to believe, he's just another mindless government drone.
