You are the one that go's somewhere. The road gives your path structure, your eyes amusement , your wanderings meaning, and at the end of your search it helps you find your way home. The road is a well worn path taken by many others- you are the journey---Ray
This road goes to a road, it will lead to another road which will lead you to another. Love the scenery but hate roads, to many roads in this world. I would rather walk across it and explore all the cool places few people have seen.. Greenbow
Roads go ever ever on, Over rock and under tree, By caves where never sun has shown, By streams that never find the sea: Over snow by winter sown, and through the merry flowers of June, Over grass and over stone, and under mountains in the moon.
Roads go ever ever on Under cloud and under star, Yet feet that wandering have gone Turn at last to home afar. Eyes that fire and sword have seen And horrors in the halls of stone, Look at last on meadows green And trees and hills they long have known.

Don't go nowhere mister, stays right here.
Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shown,
By streams that never find the sea:
Over snow by winter sown,
and through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
and under mountains in the moon.
Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star,
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horrors in the halls of stone,
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.
