Live Your Life by a Compass, Not a clock...
Haha. One of my dogs says exactly that! If I've been visiting other dogs, when I get home he actually grabs my leg and power sniffs for a good minute, before getting on with the normal greeting. My other dog doesn't give a shit.
Funny, mine's like your first :-)What kind of dogs are they?
Charlie always knows when I've been visiting her son. She'll corner me, give a good sniffing, her tail wagging the whole time. Other dogs don't even register with her. Just Snoopy.
Before I tell you what kind they are, if it were up to me they would have been german sheps! But I do love them anyway. The one I mentioned first is a male cross between a british and an american yorkshire terrier. He thinks he's a german shep, so he's ok in my books. The other is a female Cairn Terrier. She is the most stubborn animal I have ever encountered, but fast and powerful. They are my babies! They both sleep on me, and mourn when I am so frequently out of their lives.
