My World ~ Time For Change :)

Unless you're brand new here, you've notice that I changed the look of My World. Since most of you said that it wasn't really hard to load, I left those components alone. Especially since I really like them. I'm referring here to my revolver map, and my double sidebar.  So I focused more on the look, feel, and practicality of it. I needed a little airing out too. The white backgrounds make it easier to read, for you guys, I think? And easier to post for me. Especially when I want to copy/past things. So I'll keep tinkering around with it, maybe change the background, or add a banner on top, maybe a collage. Not sure yet. But I would like your input. To me this feels "calmer" and I kinda need that in my life right now.... I think it fits. 

With that said, Welcome to My World.... My Serenity ;-)

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I added tabs at the top. I only have two so far, but I have more in the works. So you can visit me there as I update them. Now if you please, tell me what you think.... And thank you all for stopping by ;-)

Yep, we got a Frost Warning last night. It didn't actually freeze, but it's 'efin cold out there. And this after we've had temps in the high 90s less then a week ago...

And She's Off...

My daughter just left for almost a week. She's off visiting and sightseeing with family.  I do like my quiet time, but this being summer brake and all, if feels unusually quiet... I'll try and get use to it ;-)

I'm just so use to having her around, it feels kinda weird, but she's in good hands, and she's a smart girl. It's good for her to get away from the parents for a bit. I wouldn't mind that at all in her shoes. I really hope she enjoys her time away. 

They do grow up so fast. Two more years and she's off to College... Wow, that's scary!

This would come in very handy at my house....

We have to watch for run away caps. My dog Lucky likes to grab them so he can barter for treats. He's a sneaky fellow, but it's easy to tell when he's got something "he knows" he shouldn't have. He'll come around the corner, stand in the doorway, and just look at me from a distance till I notice he's there. Then as soon as I move, he turns around and walks around the island in the kitchen, staying far enough away, just in case I try and catch him. The house is not that big, so it's really funny watching this big dog maneuver around the furniture. There he is laying in between the Island and the kitchen table with his "Please Feed Me" look.

I was planing on retouching where the tape let in a little white over spray, especially on the bottom squares, but then I figured... Fuck it! It's mine like that, so I left it... 

It's the inside of garage door number 2. The outside of the building looks old and beaten down... Perfect place to hide the cars, Incognito Style... ;-)

Many things in life bring frustrations. One thing in particular that I find increasingly frustrating, in my life, is when those around you treat you like your words don't matter, like you have nothing of value to contribute. Being hushed or told you can't do something just makes me wanna prove that person wrong, pretty much lighting a fire under my ass... on a good day ;-)

On a bad day, it just brings you down, makes you feel helpless and stuck, snuffing the fire, making you shut down more and more. Some moments I can't help but feel stuck... but my natural reaction is to go against the grain, and trust my own feelings about things... and THAT is when my creative juices flow. I get the job done as I see it in my mind. Things come together, and the person who was dismissive realizes they were full of crap.

I wonder how many times this has to happen for this person to realize other people have worthwhile ideas too... After years of hoping, I finally feel safe to say, there is no light at the end of that tunnel ~rolling eyes~ My hope shall be better spent elsewhere.

Life is about choices, choices that one makes for themselves. Sometimes you just gotta take control of the helm, no water how high the waves are.

A Little Heads Up...

Some people have told me that My World is hard to load, I suppose it depends on the computer. But I've been wanting to make some changes, so hopefully I can improve on a few things. I got a Blogroll Page in the works, which is gonna make it a lot easier to access all the blogs I'd like to link to. I'm gonna play around with the background some, maybe the header too.  I really like the blue purple theme I have now, but it would be so much faster to post certain things if the background was white. I wouldn't have to play around with the formatting so much.  

Now I'm gonna make these changes here and there, when I get the chance, or think of something.... so if you stop by and it looks a little different, or is all out of wack, no worries, you're at the right place, I'm just trying shit out... ;-)

I would like to know what you guys think, and if you're getting technical issues I might not have noticed. That would be helpful. Please share you thoughts.... if you have any... ;-)
