Reminds me of my son's first bike. He had a petcock fuel leak and purchased a rebuild kit. The rebuild kit sat on his desk for 3 months. He comes home from school for lunch and the bike goes up in flames 10 minutes after he got off it. I am just glad I made him park it outside. Procrastination and life experience taught him an important life lesson.

I dunno, I rode home from the Sri Lanka Curry House, parked my bike on the front lawn, and that's the last thing I remember.
