There was a group, International Riding Steer Association, that put out a book on training steers to ride. Had two I was working on to be oxen. Tried to ride them. Kinda fun - very different from a horse (have those and mules). Ended up eating them. My daughter hasn't eaten meat since. Oh well. More for me and the wife. Really enjoy your website, MissK. I just thought the concept was hilarious, especially the enthusiasm of the young man and his over zealous oxen. Look at it, just one hoof on the ground and he's kicking up dirt. Like I said, no competition ;-)
