Do women really like that unshaven "5 O'clock" stubble look? I mean I have a beard, but it's a BEARD, and not something that looks like I was too damn lazy to shave for two days!
I'm a sucker for facial hair, but more actual beards, moustaches. But the 5'oclock shadow look only works for me if there is a REASON for it, not a contrived grooming choice. If he stumbles in after working overtime, being out in the woods, etc., and looks like that, Oh Lordy...

The 5 O'clock shadow looks good, but it's too prickly for when you wanna get close. A nice scruff or beard is much better... IMO ;-)
