Is Your Cat An Asshole Too?

Found this over @ The Vulgar Curmudgeon

Mine is. She does this kinda shit all the time. If you leave anything on the edge of the desk, you know she'll knock it down. And she just sits there after, with that look of "what?" on her face. It's hilarious but annoying as hell at the same time :-)

Oh SHIT!!...

Sure..."Take the dinghy" they said....

"Walking Eagle"

President BARACK OBAMA was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upstate New York.

He spoke for almost an hour about his plans for increasing every Native American's present standard of living. He referred to his time as a U.S. Senator and how he had voted for every Native American issue that came to the floor
of the Senate.

Although President Obama was vague about the details of his plans, he seemed most enthusiastic and spoke eloquently about his ideas for helping his "Red sisters and brothers".

At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented Obama with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name, "Walking Eagle". The proud President Obama accepted the plaque and then departed in his motorcade to a fundraiser, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later asked the group of chiefs how they came to select the new name they had given to the President. They explained...

Good Evening :)

This was "suppose to be" a Good Morning, but if you've read my "Coming Clean" post, you know that circumstances, for lack of a better word, make it a little difficult at times, for me to post over the week end.

I saw this picture, and it took me away...

Flying through this valley would be a dream,
I can see it in my mind...

A little Story :-)
My Dad was a pilot, not for work but for pleasure. In his younger days, he flew all over Canada and the USA. He would go on fishing trips up north, and take aerial photographs of towns and bridges he flew over. He would even do stunts in one of his smaller planes. I wish I would have been around during those days. I have pictures and stories but very few experiences. He got married at the age of 50. I was born when he was about 54. And sadly, he passed away when I was just 17. My biggest regret is that I didn't really get to know him. I was too young and immature to realize how these moments would be so precious to me now.

He still flew when I was young, but only took me up one time, when I was about 15. I remember every second of it,

~ Thank you Lord ~
I have survived one more week...

I am grateful for many things in my life. Sometimes it's harder to recognize these things, but we all have them, we just need to take notice. I say things, but it's mostly people, moments, opportunities, no matter how small. So take many moments throughout your day to be grateful. And may the Lord's Karma bring you many more wonderful life moments :-)
