I'm embarrassed....
Yes, I'm embarrassed right now, at the general Canadian misguided perception of facts, I guess if I consider all the Obama phone people, I shouldn't feel too bad, but still, this shit has consequences.....
This morning I wake up to our radio guy ranting and raving how this business owner over in the United Sates "Blackmails" his employees into voting a certain way.... Oh this was horrible, how could somebody do this? he complained. He started to read parts of the letter and I had to laugh... seriously... this is a good thing, this guy is speaking the truth.. judge for yourselves...

CEO Says He'll Fire Employees if Obama's Reelected
David Siegel, the founder and chief executive of Westgate Resorts, a national timeshare company, became famous this year when a documentary movie, The Queen of Versailles, chronicled his effort to build the biggest home in America, a 90,000-square-foot $100 million mansion. Now he’s got a new claim to fame: sending a letter to his employees telling them they’d better think twice about who they vote for, because if Obama is reelected they may lose their jobs. The letter, which Gawker got hold of and prints in full here, begins:
"As most of you know our company, Westgate Resorts, has continued to succeed in spite of a very dismal economy. There is no question that the economy has changed for the worse and we have not seen any improvement over the past four years. In spite of all of the challenges we have faced, the good news is this: The economy doesn’t currently pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is another 4 years of the same Presidential administration. Of course, as your employer, I can’t tell you whom to vote for, and I certainly wouldn’t interfere with your right to vote for whomever you choose. In fact, I encourage you to vote for whomever you think will serve your interests the best.
However, let me share a few facts that might help you decide what is in your best interest. . . "
He goes on to say that the Obama administration and the press “want you to believe that we live in a class system where the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. They label us the ’1%.’ . . . I’m sure many people think that I live a privileged life. However, what you don’t see or hear is the true story behind any success that I have achieved.” He then tells the tale of his self-made success, and continues:
"Just think about this – most of you arrive at work in the morning and leave that afternoon and the rest of your time is yours to do as you please. But not me- there is no “off” button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have that freedom. . . .
Now, the economy is falling apart and people like me who made all the right decisions and invested in themselves are being forced to bail out all the people who didn’t. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed 42 years of my life for. . . ."
He concludes:
"So where am I going with all this? It’s quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company. . . .
You see, I can no longer support a system that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities. If that happens, you can find me in the Caribbean sitting on the beach, under a palm tree, retired, and with no employees to worry about.
Signed, your boss"

Rugby player loses testicle after final defeat
British rugby league player Paul Wood has lost a testicle after a collision during the English sport's showpiece final at Manchester's Old Trafford stadium on Saturday. Wood was playing for the Warrington Wolves against Leeds Rhinos in the Super League Grand Final. The prop sustained the injury one minute into the second half, but managed to play the rest of the match before seeking treatment. Despite Wood's determined effort, Warrington lost the match 26-18 to 2011 champions Leeds. "Ruptured my right testicle, got a knee one minute into the second half, had to have it removed," tweeted the 30-year-old father of two. Showing his sense of humor remained intact, he later tweeted: "Just coming out the hospital to go home... Seriously feel like I've left something? "Tony Smith (Warrington coach) did say in his pre-match team talk last night 'your balls are on the line here guys!' I didn't think he meant literally."

A little reminiscing....
It's my little brother's birthday today. He would be 35. I lost him barely a month after his 18th birthday on November 11, 1995 in a car accident, Remembrance Day of all days. Way too young to have experienced what life could offer. He was a sweet, stubborn boy with a big heart, would have done anything for a friend. He had a silly streak and loved to make people laugh. Not afraid to get into trouble, he managed to have a few run ins with the law, nothing major, mostly things to laugh about. Like getting chased by the cops in a potato field and ending up having to spend the night in jail. Or the halloween the year before were he and his friends decided to go trick or treating with nylon socks on their heads with their hands in their pockets. Now keep in mind, he was a tall boy with 13 size shoes, in other words... I think they scared the shit out or a few people. Now the Last halloween he and his friends, including me, decided we would all go drive around and throw eggs and water balloons at unsuspecting trick or treaters, you know, the usual.
