Sunny Side Up

My attempt at photographing the Solar Eclipse....

The first picture is actually from inside the house,
shinning through my skylight :-)

Not bad for a Canadian Redneck, eh... ;-)

you saw more of it than I did. I was at the center of the totality path in Anderson SC. About 30 to 40 minutes before totality dark thunderclouds rolled in. We packed up and left about 40 minutes after what was supposed to be the totality with the sky still blocking out any evidence there was a sun in the sky. It got twilight for about 2 and a half minutes during the totality. Big disappointment.

I will try it again in 7 years when it will happens again on th NA continent.

Im in the "90%" zone out side Louisville Ky. It got dark. Then it got light. Meh! This got hyped to death here. The wife and former munchkin loved it. BTW. My TEN year old is now 5ft. 2 1/2in with feet the same size as her mom's. Her first cousins range from 5Ft 11In to 6ft 5in. I think she'll be taller than me.---Ray

Great pictures. It also seems that you will need to change your "About Me" now that you no longer live in an Igloo. Be sure to do something fun tomorrow.
