I haven't been out there in a while. Winter's kinda draggin' on. I'm really hoping the last couple days of sunshine brought the snow down enough for me to go up the driveway. I did clear it out a few weeks ago, by hand, well shovel ;-) But we got more snow over the last month then we've had all winter :/
Grrrr... Fine :P
I'll take a ride out there after lunch...
Crossing my fingers ;-)

I know how you feel. My Wife and I own several acres on Shoal River near Mossy Head Fl. and we have been stuck out here In Northern Ca. for 3 yrs with another 6 months to go while Wife finishes her career. Need to get down there and thin out the property and cut a bunch of Hickory to set aside for B-B-Quing. But the patience thing is good i hear. Bought the land a long time ago to build a cabin retreat on but that fell through. Have a house in Lillian Al. which is only Hour and a half away the property and that's where we retire later this yr. Hate being that far away from home for so long. Miss the woods
And here I thought that you haven't been posting much, because you were working on the woodlot....forgot about the snow ;-)
I wish that was the reason, Billf. Just life...
LOL Bob, thanks, I needed that ;-)
Thanks for sharing Eclectic Kelvin :-)
I knew what it felt like to be on "your own land" as a child because of how I grew up, but I never had that opportunity as an adult, until last year. I'm sure a lot of you can relate, that feeling of being "Home" ...it's very grounding. I crave it!
