I think that the front porch fascia is too close to the window frame head underneath where it attaches to the main house. A leak will likely develop in time in that area. I would suggest installing rain diverters on both sides, which funnel the water away from the building wall / window frame.
Very nice cabin picture otherwise - I bet there is a lot of peace and quiet in the woods. The user is very lucky to have it. Thanks for the picture.

Anon, I agree. I would probably do a full porch in front, and fully cover both windows too. It would be a nicer place to sit on a rainy day.... Billf? ;-)
Yes,and regarding rainy days,my house has a metal roof,and a full porch in front.It's soooo nice to sit and watch the rain and listen to the rain on the metal roof,in the evening,with a whisky in hand,and a dog at your feet.
