Yep last night "The sleepover". How do three little girls manage to sound like 40? We finally stopped the 40db. "whispering" at two AM. But mom took the girls to church early and let me catch up on sleep. They really are kinda' cute though. Even if we didn't get much sleep---Ray
I have chased the Greatful Dead thru long summers and partied like the "lost boys". I Worked fishing boats from the Arctic to Mexico all winter to pay for it. I have been a solder , a student an explorer , I have crossed deserts, and rivers and mountains , just "because" . But this little girl is the best thing I have ever done with my life. I don't think my wife will ever know the depth of my gratitude for bringing her into my life and filling the void in my heart I didn't even know was there---Ray
Too bad you hardly post anymore. For a while I came here several times a day, even if just for your cool pictures. I guess the days of you looking forward to hitting 1 million views has faded, in essence, you've climbed your internet Mount Everest. You have a unique perspective, and I love tough ladies, even if you are French. I'm sure I'm missing looking at a great looking lady. Damn, and you love guns too ! So much for my luck of the Irish. I hope you are well & happy, and may all your dreams come true. ray
You gotta be a different ray then my usual Ray ;-) Your comment kinda makes me sad... and it's very sweet too...
Thank you for sharing, it means a lot to read those words. I care very much about my blog, and my readers. I am not abandoning it... I just needed to "reset" a few times. Getting back on one's feet is not an easy task. My life is very different and it's an adjustment that sometimes trows me for a loop. It's way more good then bad, which is great... I guess I just don't need the "escape" as much as I use to. It's kindov a double edge sword that I need to learn to handle effectively ;-)
All I can add is I am sorry if I'm disappointing some of you, and I am grateful to those who still care. Don't give up on me, I'm still here. Hugs
I'm definitely not a ray you know. I rarely comment anywhere. I meant no offense earlier, merely an old guy lamenting not having found a lady with your qualities. Never met a woman who didn't think a gun wasn't inherently evil, a scourge 'civilized' people don't need, and make more money now, Captain testosterone. I swore off of Slovaks, they are money grubbers. I have an email group of 15 & spend 6-8 hours per day online, & courtesy of Wirecutter you came up, along with Feral Irishmen & a few others. I do miss your bubbly spirit & effervescence, it came through. Things come and go, don't they ? - mostly go. I'm retired for 11 years, & waiting for the funds to be released shortly for some travel & 2 solid weeks of hell raising in Las Vegas, maybe longer. I don't know why I commented again, you just strike a chord. After 6 decades, a lot of shit becomes irrelevant. Some things emerge that time makes relevant. Your good spirit shines through. I wish you the best, and happiest you can manage. May a gentle breeze fill your sails & take you to places you want to go. Erin go Bragh ! "C'est la vie" ray

You did not offend, ray :-)
ReplyDeleteI appreciate honesty... and words from someone who has been through more experiences then I have.
A while back, I thought about adding parts of "nice" comments to my sidebar, like Irish does... you just reminded me of that.
For many reasons, I'm glad you commented. Hope you have a blast in Vegas ;-)
C'est la vie indeed <3
