Coming Clean ~ Part 2

For a little perspective, check out "Coming Clean ~ Part 1"

2014 has been a haphazard year for MyWorld :(
I think it's time I put my cards on the table....

~ The short Version ~

As of last week,
I am officially Legally Seperated.

~ The Long Version ~

Last New Years Eve, I bit the bullet and called his bluff. After being told countless times to pack my shit and leave, I decided that was definitely the best course of action for my daughter and I to take. To put it mildly, "hubby" and I had been growing apart for some time now, making the good times of the past, very distant, hazy memories.

I've been working my ass off to get organized and packed, while my daughter finished her school year, sleeping in her own bed, in this house that never really felt like Home.

I have 'till July 2nd, because that's the date I chose, to get the hell out of here. My calendar is full from dust to dawn as I salvage My Life from this mess... parts of me that were cast aside "for the sake of peace" and in my book, deserve to see the light of day when I rebuild my life.

I have hopes for a happy future as I find Our New Home. Starting with the day I can step foot outside this door knowing my daughter and my pets are safe. And all the things I care about are awesomely stacked in my Storage. Since I have to start over... I'm doing it on My Terms ;-)

It's been a long hard road... but as my new blog catch phrase says : Adventure Awaits!
I am sooo looking forward to life as a free bird. Come July second, I'm gonna load up the Crossover and hit the road... ;-)

And wherever I go, MyWorld is coming with me. This blog, and all you guys and galls have been My Escape over the past couple years, My Safe Place :-) and I'm looking forward to lots more sharing... I don't have time to play yet, but soon, very soon... :D

Stay Tuned to MyWorld as I head "Home" :-)

  4. Miss K: Somethings are broken and can be fixed, some are beyond repair. Relationships are like that, too. You have our good wishes for your future, and the knowledge that you can always rely on us for free advice, that is worth every cent you pay for it!

    Bonne chance!

  5. You're doing what's necessary for you and your daughter, that's the important point.

My question, though, is are you going to keep your igloo? ;)

Prayers sent up, post when you can, we're here for you. :)

  6. Figgered it were something like that.

Thre will be many who will give advice.

My best suggestion: do what you think is best, and BE Yourself. Remember to take a deep breath before going apeshit or making a decision when you are peeved.

Ignore the rest of us, myself included.

  9. My only comment is ....what took you so long?
I've been reading your blog for a while, and the only times you mentioned your other half has been to complain.
You are (or at least seem to be)a clever girl, and have your daughter to worry about. You need to be free to be yourself and be a good example to her-be all you can be,and don't let someone put you down.
Full speed ahead, and don't look back. We'll help if you need it.

  10. Kinda figured that something like this was on the horizon.

Been there, done that. The horizons and possibilities are endless.

As always, if you need anything, and I do mean anything, do not hesitate to say so.

You might be surprised how many folks would help at the drop of a hat, no questions, no strings attached.

Take care and take it one day at a time.

Be patiently waiting to hear from you.

  13. MissK,
You do not know me, I do not know your circumstances. Be as it may, when a person asks for help, I try my best to give what I can. Whatever your decision, whatever the outcome, I pray God gives you strength and perseverance to achieve whatever you wish for in your life. Via con Dios.

  14. It's never good when a relationship ends. It's worse when it involves children. Granted, she's old enough to know what is happening, but it doesn't make it any easier.
I don't have any advise save this - do what is right for you and her. The rest will take care of itself.

Take care darlin'. Good luck and God speed. We'll be waiting for ya!
