Moving Forward...

As I recently mentioned,
a Little Update for My Readers ;-)

Y'all remember my "Road Trip" about a month ago,
well it turns out I went to do a little "Window Shopping" :-)

Meet My New Ride :D

It's been years since I had a car to call my own.
This was long overdue, and I must say,
a very Liberating Step in the Right Direction ;-)

For those interested, I added a few pics to my sidebars...

  6. How about that. It looks a lot like Mrs. Woodsterman's Chevy Equinox.

  9. As much as I can Ray :-)

Yes, yes it does Odie ;-)

Ah... Road Trips, very appealing now a days....

And btw, it's not NEW new, it's New to me. And has all the "goodies" I wanted Critter :-)

The hunt was fairly simple... I chose to buy an Equinox, because I like the look and it has the cargo space I need, and much leg room in the back seat. 2011, because I didn't like the older model, and newer was just too damn expensive. Low millage, hopefully below 60,000 kms. AWD, because I live in an igloo... dah ;-) 4cyln, for fuel economy and lower cost. Automatic transmission, because I've driven 5spd for years, and I wanted a change, but mostly because my daughter has her learner's permit and it was just a nice thing to do for her, and last but not least... I wanted a BLUE one :D Everything else was just gravy ;-)

So like I said, I found one with all the goodies I wanted... with only 40,000 Kms. For those who don't know that's a bit less than 25,000 Miles... practically new, super clean, 2 sets of new tires, the exact color I wanted, and the pièce de résistance... NOBODY except me and my daughter get to drive it... HA! :P
