You hit the nail on the head Bob :-) I didn't mean it in a bad way, I've never really wanted to "fit in". Being different has always been way more interesting ;-)
I think what I was poking at is more in terms of being accepted as I am. Especially where "family" is concerned. You know, the friends you can't pick :/
Family ( blood) can be the meanest, rudest, inconsiderate, hippocritical of all, so I have found out, seems. True friends are the ones that have melted their blood and souls with yours. ;-)
Every day of my life. BUT, I also learned that I could care less that others thought. Once you tune them out, everything is possible...especially what others say is IMpossible.
Naw, I do not concern myself with fitting in with the crowd. For the most part, they are not worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteI can count my true friends on my hands.....we do not have to try and "fit in" with each other, we accept each other for who we are.....warts and all.

You laugh at me because I'm different.
ReplyDeleteI laugh at all of you because you are all the same.
Don't care to and don't want to fit in. It is more fun out here!
I get that feeling ALL THE TIME.
