Someone with OCD should make sure the screw slots are PERFECTLY aligned up and down And then color code the switches brown and ivory, then every one with be hunk dory. :-)
Actually Dusty, my OCD, uh I mean CDO would urge me to make the screws straight yes, but it would conflict with the equally nagging urge to make them perfectly snug... And I also have to make sure, without excessive fussing, that the switch is fully in the up, or down position, whatever the case may be, and not hanging around towards the middle risking a bulb to short and burn out... it happens you know ;-)
Ha! Until I got busted, I used to switch a double plate like this a couple times a year. Left to right and right to left. Good for weeks of laughs then they got used to it for a while and then I switched them again. Turned them upside down too for a little while. Good fun...... Man, I sure need help...:-/
Wow! Your even tilted off center more than I realized ;-) I like that in a woman. I am cooking pork chops in mushroom gravy, fried potato's and baked butternut squash tonight. Hurry over before it's gone.
Gee I thought it was just my Chemo-brain (ten years in the same house and I still turn on the light instead of the fan)----Ray
ReplyDeleteI do it too, glad to know I'm not alone in my confusion ;-)
ReplyDeleteI labeled all the switches with my P-Touch!
ReplyDeleteSame here.

Now MissK I completely get your 6:40 statement. That sort of dilemma can paralyze me.
