A Little Heads Up...


Some people have told me that My World is hard to load, I suppose it depends on the computer. But I've been wanting to make some changes, so hopefully I can improve on a few things. I got a Blogroll Page in the works, which is gonna make it a lot easier to access all the blogs I'd like to link to. I'm gonna play around with the background some, maybe the header too.  I really like the blue purple theme I have now, but it would be so much faster to post certain things if the background was white. I wouldn't have to play around with the formatting so much.  

Now I'm gonna make these changes here and there, when I get the chance, or think of something.... so if you stop by and it looks a little different, or is all out of wack, no worries, you're at the right place, I'm just trying shit out... ;-)

I would like to know what you guys think, and if you're getting technical issues I might not have noticed. That would be helpful. Please share you thoughts.... if you have any... ;-)

    I never had any problems.But that's just me.I do have problems with the captcha again.

    Yeah... the darn captcha. Wish I didn't have to, but it's about the only thing that stops the spam.

    I've never had any trouble with the page loading. I primarily use Firefox.

    But, variety is the spice of life. A little tinkering now and then seldom hurts.

    Your page loads fine for me, maybe 5-10 seconds at most.
    I have firefox, I clean disc several times a day, defregment several times a day and scan with spybot several times also seems to help , i see alot of people with slow computers because they don't defregment.Even if it says you don't need to defregent, I defregment. spybot cleans up stuff too. even if it don't need it. where you have alot of colors, pictures, it may take a little longer to load , but it is well worth the wait.

    FWIW,I never have any trouble at all with your blog or the links you provide to other blogs,in fact I often come here more than once a day just to see if there's anything new.Change things around as you see fit,but don't please change the sarcasm or the hotties,I love your blog.

    Hasn't been a problem and I use some of the crappiest ISP's in the world. I am currently in Asia with an ISP that resembles dial up.

    I think the only major issue for me is the Revolvermaps, which typically slows down my computer AND the household network connection for a few seconds until it finishes loading.(my roommates will complain of a lag spike if they are playing League of Legends while I visit the site. All slowdowns disappear once the Revolvermap finishes loading.)

    Which is unfortunate, because it's a really cool plugin.

    Your Drop down comment thingy helps. The page doesn't have to reload after commenting.

    Yours doesn't seem long to load to me. If you post a lot of Animated GIFs that will slow it down. If your photos are HD that will slow things down too. If you have a lot of posts before the bottom of the page that will also slow it down.
