I was having a debate with a friend at work today, about the fact that animals "play". I say they do, he says they don't. Then the term "Horse Play" came up...... So this post is for you my stubborn, dare I say ornery friend... ;-)

Man, anyone who has been around animals knows that they play. Dogs, goats, and even cats.

ReplyDeleteOf course wild animals play too. At the primal level, play is a way to develop and hone social and survival skills. Same as in the human animal ;-)
I'm gonna go hunt down some "proof" that wild animals play too.
