You can give me Rock City in Tennessee .......
ReplyDeleteVancouver, Canada.

What else could you want in a city?!
Echo, IA
ReplyDeleteAs close to a city as I care to be.

I'll get the others as soon as I can...
ReplyDeleteAnybody else care to share you're welcome to.. ;-)
The best view of any city is in my rear view mirror.
ReplyDeleteLoose chicks, timbo?! tsk tsk ~ahem~ we have those in Texas... Not me, of course, just sayin'...
ReplyDeleteI'm not big on cities, but probably the most fun I've had has been New Orleans. Or so I've been told.
Detroit, cheap real estate, a crack ho on every conrner.
ReplyDelete3 hr ago I was driving down a freeway. Noticed the skyline of a city, then remembered this post. "Shit, you spell loose with 2 o's!"
ReplyDeleteWiser. I've lived most of my life in boomtowns, where females know their advantage. When I visit cities where it isn't so lopsided, I am always blown away by the friendliness of the local women.
how about just good, honest women, timbo? I'm sure you can find those anywhere if you try.
ReplyDeletePittsburgh, PA Great town, so-so sports teams, lots to see & do. A very friendly place
ReplyDeleteAbbyS
Wiser - nope. Mostly entitled, self important women in the parts I often reside.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of places where I go that the women behave as equals. The above mentioned Vancouver is one of them.
I'm pretty sure that unless you are a guy, and especially a guy that spends most of his time around places with high oil production or other manly industrial places, you would not be aware of this phenomenon.
(sorry MissK for the side conversation)
No apologies needed Timbo, carry on.. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWOw...
ReplyDeleteThose are some of the nicer picture of Monterey California, MissK...
Thanks...
BTW, Utah and Idaho are two beautiful States...

I do not enjoy cities much, but I had some good times in San Antonio while in the military. The Riverwalk was a drunken fools paradise.
ReplyDeleteFor me the Main St. in Moab, Utah. Even the outlying areas are just beautiful. Plus all the Jeeps, never seen so many in one place.
ReplyDeleteKalispell, Montana
ReplyDeleteThe city itself is pretty ordinary but the country surrounding it is beautiful and it is close to Glacier National Park.
I prefer my little town of Valparaiso Florida. It is on the Pan Handle close to the gulf next door to Eglin AFB and has the home town feel of Mayberry.
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of the jets flying over, the sudden roar of fighters, There is NOTHING like the sound of Freedom screaming over your house.
This is not sarcasm, I do miss the Air Force I am retired so hearing the jets helicopters and C-130's fly over is awesome.
Have a great Christmas!
I don't really have a favorite, but the wife and I want to retire (not anytime soon) in Telegraph, TX.
ReplyDeleteI like Phoenix but I think it's mostly because of the friends I have there.
This one will throw you-
ReplyDeleteRota, Spain.
Not the new town, but the one it was back in the '80s with Bennies bar, Herman-the-German's and Shorties for the best fried rice you could find at 2 AM before morning Quarters.
I Love reading all the comments, I'll get more pics posted when I can...
ReplyDeletePlease keep sharing :-)
Can you bump this thread to the top when you add the pictures? I look forward to seeing them.
ReplyDeleteSure.. will do Son of L ;-)
ReplyDeleteLive in the boonies and grew up in a hick town. DO NOT LIKE CITIES.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to get stuck in one it would be Singapore. Visited there many times when I was in the Navy.
It's clean, polite and if they had a crime rate, it was damn low. Also, the climate ain't half bad.
tripseven in Missk's igloo
ReplyDeleteThe Northern Lights at your igloo are absolutely be-u-ti-ful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank You.
