~ Cabin Porn ~

I think that the front porch fascia is too close to the window frame head underneath where it attaches to the main house. A leak will likely develop in time in that area. I would suggest installing rain diverters on both sides, which funnel the water away from the building wall / window frame.

Very nice cabin picture otherwise - I bet there is a lot of peace and quiet in the woods. The user is very lucky to have it. Thanks for the picture.

All that's missin' is you and me sitting on the porch. (Maybe with a dog)

Not mine Bob, but I do like a lot of things about it ;-)

Anon, I agree. I would probably do a full porch in front, and fully cover both windows too. It would be a nicer place to sit on a rainy day.... Billf? ;-)

Yes,and regarding rainy days,my house has a metal roof, and a full porch in front. It's soooo nice to sit and watch the rain and listen to the rain on the metal roof,in the evening, with a whisky in hand, and a dog at your feet.
