WAAAAY more better than the range (indoor) I was at earlier today, lots better scenery as well BUT the tradeoff was that several of us got to work with some noobs and develop fundamental skills so it was still a win!

Hey! So tell us. We hear that firearms are restricted in Canada. What kind of Arms do you own/ are allowed to own? Do you need permits? Ammo restrictions? IMWTK.----Ray

No Moslem is going to grab a handful of #1 and live to tell about it.

I like bluejeans...

Range time tomorrow! I have some new loads to work up for the 45 - new bullets. My primary target 9mm pistol took a dump last week and I am awaiting parts so it will be a while before I shoot any 9mm. After 38,000 rounds my Taurus 92 broke. It will be 45 only for a while.

Permit is required Ray, for ammo too... and lots of restrictions. I signed my daughter and I up for the safety course, next April. Honestly, I'm still learning about the "legal" aspect of it, it's very different then in the States. For the most part, I've been immersing myself in your "culture" since I've discovered the 2A a few years ago, yes, I have led a very sheltered life, I realize that. With that said, I remember target shooting as a child with my dad's little 22. I was pretty good, and it was a whole lotta fun :D

To answer your other question Ray, I have my dad's 303, just a few feet away from me actually.... and a "special" piece I get to enjoy on my Road Trips. Click on the label "My Guns" if you wanna see it. Kinda silly that I need to go to the States to shoot, but I don't mind..... ;-)

The SMLE III/no 4Mk1/Mk2 .303 is one of the finest military repeating firearms ever made. I have owned MANY(I bought my first one in 1977) of them and count my 1955 No.4Mk2 among the most accurate firearm's I have ever owned. (sub MOA with 174Gr. Match). The info about permits is what I suspected, because its what the Democrat/Republican/communist party wants down here as a "first step" to confiscation. Thanks.---Ray
